๐Ÿ‘‘ Help for fine hair - our PRO tips on getting your looking its best for your special day!

We often have brides who are conscious of their fine hair and feel they need help. If youโ€™re worried you wonโ€™t achieve your dream style because your hair is thin or fine.. keep on reading! We are here to help you ๐Ÿ’‹

โ˜€๏ธ Use strategic colour to make your hair look more multi-dimensional and have the illusion of thicker hair. Highlights and lowlights are great for this and your hair will look thicker than an all over block colour.

๐ŸŒช Let your hair air dry after washing as much as possible! This will help you to avoid any unnecessary heat damage on your hair. If you can cut down on the amount you straighten it & use other heat tools leading up to your day too, this will do it a world of good.

๐Ÿ’Š Hair, skin & nail vitamins. Consider taking a supplement to help your hair grow and thicken! Many people have had amazing results with these but just keep in mind if you get lash extensions or acrylic nails, you may end up needing extra appointments as your lashes and nails will grow faster too ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿผ

๐Ÿ’†โ€โ™€๏ธ Use a shampoo & conditioner that has volumising and thickening benefits. Search for these key words when shopping for your new hair products & ensure youโ€™re buying salon quality too which is so much better for your hair.

๐Ÿšฟ Donโ€™t over-wash your hair. Shampooing hair strips it of natural oils and the more natural oils you can retain, the healthier your hair will be, so try not to shampoo *too* often! 1-2 times per week should be good depending on the amount of oil your scalp produces.

๐Ÿ’œ Ask your hairdresser about Protein treatments & whether they may help you. Fine hair is naturally more vulnerable and needs the added protection. Protein treatments will help to strengthen the hair strands, repair damage and put an end to breakage. This will all help grow your hair easier too!

๐Ÿฆ‹ Never condition your roots. Itโ€™s not needed, especially for those with fine, thin or oily hair. Your scalp already has natural oils that will come through to the roots of your hair. Conditioning your roots will weigh the hair down more and it will lack volume & be too soft and slippery to create your beautiful style to the best of its potential!

๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿผ Consider CLIP IN hair extensions to help create your dream hair โœจ๐Ÿ‘‘ These make all the difference when it comes to achieving the style you want. Get in touch, I can help recommend you which ones to buy!

โŒ Avoid braiding styles. On very fine hair the braids will be too thin and lacklustre. You sadly wonโ€™t achieve that gorgeous thick braid youโ€™re envisioning.

๐ŸŒธ Choose smaller, more delicate peices to accessorise or a flower crown. Fine hair may become weighed down and overwhelmed by chunky, heavy pins & clips.
